What is Cancer?
What is cancer?
Cancer is a disease in which abnormal cells divide uncontrollably and destroy the bodies tissue.
-What are abnormal cells and what causes them?
Abnormal cells develop due to infection and bacteria or yeast in the body. Yeast as we know is a microscopic fungus consisting of single oval cells that reproduce by budding, and are capable of converting sugar into alcohol and carbon dioxide. Abnormal cells in the blood and bone marrow known as Leukemia is caused by rapid production of abnormal white cells. The high number of abnormal cells are not able to fight off infection and impair the ability of the bone marrow to produce red blood cells and platelets.

A normal platelet count ranges from 150,000 to 450,000 platelets per micro-liter of blood. Having more than 450,000 of platelets is a condition known as thrombocytosis, having less than 150,000 is known as thrombocytopenia.
-Platelets are cells in your blood which form clots to help you to stop bleeding. Platelets help bind and internalize pathogens and release microbicidal proteins that kill certain bacteria and fungi.
Certain medications can reduce the number of platelets in your blood. Sometimes a drug confuses the immune system and causes it to destroy platelets. (Antibiotics)
